Review the ASU graduate catalog corresponding to the academic year/semester in which you were admitted or readmitted for policies and procedures regarding your degree requirements

MA Graduation Checklist
- Submit completed degree plan with appropriate signatures to graduation office
- Submit application for graduation to the graduate office not later than:
- Fall Graduates - June 20th
- Spring Graduates - June 7th
- Summer Graduates - September 7th
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Ensure undergraduate credit is approved for graduate credit by department chair
- Ensure only 9 credit hours of undergraduate credit are applied toward degree
Extended Studies Students
- Although given a year to complete the coursework through the program, ensure it is complete before:
- Fall Graduates - January 7th
- Spring Graduates - June 7th
- Summer Graduates - September 7th
Transfer Students
- Ensure the graduate office receives all transcripts with transfer course substitutions no later than:
- Fall Graduates - January 7th
- Spring Graduates - June 7th
- Summer Graduates - September 7th
- Ensure only 6 credit hours of transfer credit are applied toward degree
- Ensure transfer work is approved using the petition to transfer credit form
