Requirements for Filing

Applicants must be admitted to and registered for courses at ASC. If they have not been admitted to ASC, they must be admitted at another institution and be registered for a course or courses at ASC. In this case, joint (concurrent) certification is processed with the other school. Graduate students are allowed to register in courses at ASC for one year, after which they are required to be admitted students to ASC. Undergraduates must be admitted students to ASC.

Filing Procedures

All forms for first-time applicants, continuing students, and transfer students can be obtained in Richardson Hall, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The ASC Veteran Affairs office will certify and submit your completed application to the Veterans Administration. The first check for current enrollment will be sent in 6 to 8 weeks by the Veterans Administration to the address entered on the ASE form. Thereafter, checks will be sent at the beginning of each month in payment for the previous month's benefits.
