Adventure Leadership and Programming (ALP)

Adventure Leadership and Programing (ALP) is a minor in Human Performance and Physical Education. The program is designed to train leaders for Adams State Adventure Programs (ASAP) and provide technical leadership skills for employment in adventure based careers. Students can begin taking classes in Spring and Fall building toward Fall employment with ASAP.

ALP is designed so that a group of 9 students go through the course progression in one year of study. On going experience is provided with excellent mentoring through Adventure Programs in following years.

ALP is a highly competitive leadership program and requires a high level of commitment . All of the ALP courses require Instructor Approval in order to enroll in the courses.
