Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS)

What is P.A.S.S?
Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) is an academic assistance program, where students work together to reinforce key concepts and develop effective study strategies.
Each session incorporates how to learn and what to learn. These sessions are not group tutoring sessions, but instead group study sessions guided by a trained tutor who is also taking the course with you. Whether you are a top performer or could use some improvement, you will benefit from the skills and understanding gained from attending PASS.
The most obvious result of PASS is that the students who attend regularly, consistently earn a higher grade and withdraw less often than those who do not attend.
Current P.A.S.S. supported courses
Currently GTLC is offering PASS sessions for Spanish 103 & 203, as well as all Math 104 sections. If you are interested in joining a PASS session, please contact GTLC or stop by the front desk located on the 2nd floor of the Nielsen library for further information.
