Tutoring Program

The Student Support Services (SSS) Peer Tutoring Program at Adams State College is a fundamental form of academic support for students as they embark upon their college careers. Building positive peer tutor-tutee relationships early in the first month of classes is encouraged and is the catalyst to becoming an independent learner. Participants may request tutoring in a variety of subjects, however, there are tutors specifically available for assistance in English and Math courses. Tutors may apply by completing the Peer Tutor Application and submitting to the SSS front desk. Students requesting tutoring assistance may complete and submit the Tutor Request form. For more information about tutoring or to obtain a tutor request form, please see the SSS Tutor Coordinator, Wendy Heminger.
