ALP - Career Opportunities

Many ALP graduates have careers in finance, business, management, education, or even in medicine. These students applied the skills they developed through the ALP into other majors to prepare them for not just their chosen career path, but for life.

Throughout their coursework, students learn and practice interpersonal skills and teaching skills that empower them to be effective in any profession.

Many graduates have worked in the following fields:

Rope Climbing

  • Outdoor Education
  • Wilderness Therapy
  • Non-Profit Management
  • National Forest Service
  • Bureau of Land Management
  • National Parks Service
  • Parks and Wildlife
  • Conservation and Environmental Education
  • Guiding Services and Tourism
  • Outdoor Recreation
ALP students also benefit from a variety of internship and volunteer opportunities through our partnerships with local agencies such as NPS, NFS, CPW, and BLM and many non-profit conservation, education, or outdoor recreation oriented organizations.
