Degree Requirements

There are two possible tracks for the completion of the anthropology minor:

Required Courses

• ANTH 201: Cultural Anthropology (3 hours)
• ANTH 205: Physical Anthropology (3 hours)
• ANTH 300: Archaeology (3 hours)
• ANTH 310: Anthropological Linguistics (3 hours)

Plus, select 2 courses from the following electives:

• ANTH 330: Humans and Water (3 hours)
• ANTH 339: Archaeology Field School (3-6 hours)
• ANTH 360: Forensic Anthropology (3 hours)
• ANTH 349:Internship (3-6 hours)
• ANTH 379: Special Topics (3 hours)
• ANTH 450: Southwest Archology (3 hours)
• ANTH 460: Medical Anthropology (3 hours)
