Second Annual Valley Teachers Art Show

Throughout the month of April, Adams State College Community Partnerships Community Gallery second annual "Before they were Teachers they were Artists", exhibit features the work of sixteen San Luis Valley teachers. The reception is from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Friday, April 23. The reception is free and open to the public.

The exhibit features a wide range of work and mediums, including clay and pottery, watercolor, oil paintings, wood. Artists include Woody Miller, Del Norte High School; Butch Jones, Sue Patterson, John Dodds, Jim Relyea, and Isabelle Zaugg, Alamosa Schools; Randy Pijoan and Kent Anderson, San Luis; Misty Lambert, Mountain Valley; Nathan Brokaw, La Jara; Sophia Dixon Dillo, Moffat; Sharon McCoy, Sargent; Robin McClure, Center; Javier Gonzalez, Sierra Grande; Janine Chumley, Monte Vista, and Annette Troncoso, Antonito.

The ASC Community Partnerships is located on the Adams State campus, corner of Main St. and Edgemont Blvd. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
