Harmony for the Hungry invites the community to collect resources for the Valley’s food bank and evoke hunger awareness

On April 28, KASF radio will be hosting an outdoor food drive and concert to benefit the Alamosa Food Bank. Between 1 and 5 P.M., there will be a variety of performances from Late Nite Reading, an Indiana up-and-coming band; Megan Perez, an Adams State student; DC, a Colorado rapper; Alexandria, a Denver singer; and more.

Adams State faculty, staff, students, and the community are invited to dance, sit, converse, network, and enjoy the afternoon at the North Campus Green.

There will also be volunteers from the Alamosa Food Bank giving an address to enlighten everyone on the hunger needs in Alamosa and the San Luis Valley during the middle of the event.

This is a 100% nonprofit event, and it is asked that attendees bring a small monetary donation or a canned good. All of the donations will go directly to the Food Bank Networks of the San Luis Valley.

The event will be catered for all attendees.

Anyone who would like to help with the event, donate, or who has any questions, please contact KASF at kasf909fm@gmail.com or by phone at 719-587-7830 for more information.
