Adams State University EARTH (Environmental Actions for Resources Transportation & Health) welcomes participants and volunteers for a range of activities scheduled during Earth Week. All events, with exception of the garage sale, are free and open to the public.

Monday, April 22

  • Ute Elder Russell Box
  • DVD and discussion about the annual Bear Dance
  • 6 p.m.
  • Student Life Center, located in the Student Union Building north end.

Tuesday, April 23

  • An EARTH art show reception, featuring a tie-dye activity
  • 4 p.m.
  • Art Building lobby

Thursday, April 25

  • Sustainability Booth Display
  • 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
  • Student Union Building;
  • Bike to Work Day - stop by the booth with your bike to win a prize
  • BYORB (bring your own recyclable bottle) Hoops Contest - sink five to win a prize
  • Diego Martinez electric car presentation, "Revenge of the Electric Car" video
  • 6 p.m.

Friday, April 26

  • Rio Grande Cleanup
  • 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
  • Meet on the campus green

Saturday, April 27

  • Annual Reduce Reuse, Recycle, Garage Sale
  • 7 a.m. until 12 p.m.
  • Front of the Student Union Building
  • East Campus Community Garden Work Day
  • 9 a.m. until noon
  • On the corner of West Street and First Avenue

Sunday, April 28

  • "Leave No Trace" Hike with Adams State Adventure Programs to Windy Peak
