Adams State College housing resident assistants, left to right, Kendra Smith, junior nursing major; Ashley Martinez, sophomore math/computer science major; and Melanie Hawthorne, junior music education major, spent the last three days, along with 30 other resident assistant assembling new bed frames and mattresses for every apartment in the Adams State complexes including Houtchens, Moffatt, Petteys, McCurry, and Savage Halls.

According to Bruce DelTondo, director of auxiliary services, the new beds are full size, rather than the standard twins from before. "The bed frames are actually a raised platform that provides storage space underneath," he said.

Funding for the new furniture was available through the Capital Fee Campaign, approved by Adams State students last spring.
