Regional High School Exhibition awards Adams State scholarships

Riley Pertile, Meeker High School will receive a $1000 scholarship to Adams State for first place, an etching "Aspen Trees."

The Adams State University Art Department Hatfield Gallery Juried Regional High School Exhibition  scholarships included:

Second place, $750 scholarship, went to Valentin Rosas, Meeker High School, for his pen drawing "Calavera."

Third place includes a $500 scholarship to Derek Medina, Monte Vista High School, for his pinhole photo "Rays."

The exhibit continues through December 15. Hatfield Gallery hours are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday.
