Music Department presents "The True Story of Cinderella"

Everyone finds a way to live "happily ever after" in the Adams State College Music Department and Opera Workshop performance, "The True Story of Cinderella," at 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, March 7 and 8, in Leon Memorial Hall. This event is free to AS&F and Friends of Music. Adult tickets are $5 and student tickets are $1.

"The True Story of Cinderella" is not staged but is performed as a comic oratorio. Added to this version are characters not found in the traditional story of Cinderella, all providing something new and humorous to the plot. Each of the characters has a distinct musical style, ranging from music theatre to grand opera to the blues.
