Participants create marshmallow models at November 20 Science Saturday.

For spring 2011, Adams State College Science Saturdays will focus on topics related to astronomy. Beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, at Zacheis Planetarium, located on the Adams State campus, Science Saturday will explore the moon, looking at its movement and surface.

The presentation is free and open to the public.  Due to the nature of planetarium activities, it is important to be in the planetarium before 9 a.m. Another Science Saturday is scheduled for February 12.
