ASC hosts chile and salsa cook-off


The Adams State College Autumn@Adams third annual chile cook-off is September 13. This year, submit either your green and/or red chile and/or salsa. Pictured, the popular event drew a large crowd, last year.

Contestant fee is $10 and cash prizes will be awarded to the top cooks and a cash price will go to the "best table." Contact Linda Relyea at 719-587-7827, email, or go online to Autumn at Adams and click on the cook-off link.

Chile and wings will be judged by the general public, who will pay $3 to receive a ballot. Cups, spoons, napkins, chips, and electricity will be provided.
