Adams State, TSJC host 2nd annual SLV Economic Summit Aug. 6
A San Luis Valley Economic Impact study will be released on Aug. 6 as part of the second annual SLV Economic Summit hosted by Adams State in collaboration with Trinidad State Junior College.
This year's conference will focus on SLV Heritage and Rural Workforce Development, in addition to the release of the SLV Economic Impact study.
Speakers at the day-long summit will include Dr. Richard Wobbekind from the University of Colorado's Leeds School of Business; Elizabeth Garner of the Colorado State Demographics Office; and Luis Benitez, director of the Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office.
The Aug. 6 summit begins at 8:30 a.m. in the Student Union Building at Adams State, with the first speaker set to start promptly at 9 a.m.
