New Beginnings artists Ricardo Cole, John Soergel, Anna Lee Walker, Glenda Guthrie, Kevin Jenkins, and Willie Wade display their door to the future.

There is still time to open a door for local nonprofits. The Adams State College Community Partnerships "Doors to the Future" silent auction closes Wednesday, June 30.

Bids can be made in person at ASC Community Partnerships Gallery, located on the corner of Main Street and Edgemont Blvd. on the Adams State Campus, or online at Doors to Future.

Minimum bids are $25 and proceeds support local nonprofits including the Alamosa Boys and Girls Club, ASC Community Partnerships, Blue Peaks Day Services, Colorado State Veterans Center, Ventero Open Press, New Beginnings, PALS, Hospice Del Valle, Rosary Makers, and Gate-13.

"Doors to the Future", a collaboration of eleven local organizations and artists, turned old doors into artwork. The exhibit and silent auction will close Wednesday, June 30. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 719-587-8227 for information.
