Non-profit excellence workshops offered to San Luis Valley Organizations

Adams State College Community Partnerships is hosting a non-profit management and fundraising workshop series through a collaboration with Colorado Compassion Project. The four-day workshop series is specifically tailored to improving the operations of Colorado's non-profits and will provide education on topics such as fundraising, non-profit leadership, community engagement, and program development. Participants will leave the workshop with informational and physical resources useful for applying for grants.

The workshop is geared to all positions within a non-profit organization, from executives to volunteers. Through a statewide grant, this series of workshops is available at no cost, but space is limited.

Workshop presenters include Martha Vail, Ph.D., and Taylor, Roth and Company, PLLC. Vail has thirty years experience working with non-profits in various capacities, with expertise in governance, organization development, and fundraising. With offices in Denver and Durango, the firm Taylor, Roth and Company offers accounting and management services and has twenty years experience working exclusively with nonprofit organizations.

The workshop series is scheduled from 8:45 a.m. until 5 p.m. August 9 through August 12 in the Adams State College School of Business room 142. Space is limited, register online at For more information call ASC Community at 719-587-8209.
