The Business department has selected Roderigo Dos Santos as its high-achieving graduating student.

Originally from Brazil, Santos has an outstanding 3.9 GPA, while he is also an active member on campus in Phi Beta Lambda and Rotaract.

Phi Beta Lambda is the oldest student business organization on campus that participates in both state and national competitions.

The Rotaract club is a newly developing club on campus that focuses on community service and eliminating social issues. The group promotes an international mindset when addressing health problems and other similar difficulties, and the club will be seeking recognition from Adams State in the near future.

After graduation, Santos will be looking for employment at a banking or investing company. He’s not sure exactly where he wants to go, but he will definitely not be attending school for a few years.

Overall, Santos reflects on his experience at Adams State as “cold”. Having transferred here from a Texas school last spring, the past year has been a transition for Santos, a unique experience for so late in his successful academic career.

He will officially graduate at the end of the summer term.
