Adams State held the annual Piedra Pump Climbing Competition

The Adams State University Piedra Pump Climbing Competition brought in climbing teams across Colorado including Colorado University, CSU-Pueblo, Metro State University of Denver, Fort Lewis College and the University of Northern Colorado.

According to Adams State Adventure Sports Coordinator Tamera Rice, the event was better attended than last year. "It is fun to climb and a blast to watch."

Matt Moore, Adams State head climbing coach, said: "One thing is for sure, everyone is looking forward to next year."

The next event for the Adams State climbing team is Regionals on March 25 in Fort Collins, Colo.
