Adams State Graduate Commencement Ceremony is May 13

Graduate students enter Plachy Hall during the 2016 Graduate Commencement Ceremony.

The Adams State University Graduate Commencement Ceremony, for students receiving their master's degrees, begins at 1:30 p.m. May 13, in Plachy Hall Gym.

Adams State will award 447 degrees, for the 2016/2017 academic year. Graduate degrees to be awarded will include art, counselor education, higher education administration and leadership (HEAL), human performance and physical education (HPPE), humanities: United States history, humanities: cultural resource management, Master of Business Administration, music education, and teacher education.

Dr. William Lipke, professor of music, will perform a special selection of music and a slide show featuring the graduate students will be included in the ceremony. A reception honoring the graduates and their guests will be held in the Field House following the ceremony.
