Future Farmers of America Chevy Camaro makes pit stop at ASC

A sparkling blue Chevrolet Camaro pulled into the Adams State College Richardson Hall parking lot as it makes its way across the state promoting Future Farmers of America (FFA). While on campus, Alamosa FFA Chapter members and Adams State agribusiness students admired the car. Pictured, left, Adams State Dave Svaldi, president; Zena Buser, assistant professor of agribusiness; and senior TJ VanBibber; right, Adams State senior Brady Schriebvogel, and FFA Alamosa Chapter members Alissa Sinclair and Levi Rutgers.

Raffle tickets for the car cost $5 and are available through any Alamosa or Centauri FFA chapter member or online at coloradoffafoundation.org. The proceeds will support local FFA chapters and the Colorado FFA Foundation. Supporters include Adams State College, hosts of the 2011 FFA Colorado State Convention, Colorado Potato Administration, Rocky Mountain Agribusiness Association, Colorado FFA Foundation, and Colorado Chevy Dealers. The winning ticket will be drawn at the state convention held June 1, 2, and 3, on the Adams State campus.
