SLV Symphony Fall Classics Concert is December 4


The San Luis Valley Symphony will present its Fall Classics Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, in Richardson Hall Auditorium, on the Adams State College campus.

Under the direction of Dr. William Lipke, the program will feature popular selections including J. S. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, the beautiful "Gymnopedies" by the French Impressionist Eric Satie, orchestrated by Claude Debussy, and the monumental Fifth Symphony by Ludwig van Beethoven. "Many people are familiar with the first movement of Beethoven's Fifth but to hear the entire symphony is a fantastic experience," Lipke said.
