Realize the holiday joy of working as an elf in Macy's SantaLand. Experience the pleasure of your fellow elves hitting on customers, or on you. The Adams State University Theatre Program production, "The SantaLand Diaries," directed by Jim Willis opens at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 19 and runs nightly through Saturday, November 23 in the Xperimental Theatre.

Learn what janitorial product to use as children with "tickle tummy" excitedly await their visit with Santa. Appreciate the happiness that working in a forest-green velvet smock, candy cane tights and elf boots can bring.

From crazed co-workers to abusive customers, David Sedaris's "The SantaLand Diaries" is a funny, bitingly caustic take on everyone's favorite holiday. Adams State University Theatre brings you "A dark, bittersweet holiday treat – caution: may contain nuts!"

Santaland Diaries, by David Sedaris and adapted for the stage by Joe Mantello, contains adult subject matter. Not recommended for those under 17. Individual tickets are $8 for general public, $7 for seniors and students, and free to Associated Students and Faculty with current Adams State identification.
