Donors and students recognized at annual dinner
The annual Adams State University Donor and Student Recognition Dinner provides an opportunity for students to show appreciation for the continued support and generosity of donors. The event allows for the donors to be recognized and honored by the institution.

The heartfelt remarks and comments by the recipients of the awards reflects their passionate belief that Adams State is an institution that helps thousands of students realize their current academic and personal goals and prepares them for a successful future.
Norm '75 '77 and Greta Roberts received the Grizzly Club Individual Partner of the Year. The couple were born and raised in the valley and remember coming to Adams State through the years. "It is natural to be involved in Adams State," Norm said. "It is a part of our family."
The Willis Fassett Jr. Award honored the years of support by Ron '65 and Marilyn '86 '87 Loser. Ron said Adams State transforms students' lives – in more than just academics but in all aspects of their character.
This year, the Inn of the Rio Grande received the Grizzly Club Corporate Partner of the Year. Felicia Garcia accepted the award on behalf of Clancy Spicer, owner of the inn. Erik van de Boogaard received the Billy Adams Award, which was awarded during the Homecoming celebration.
