SLV Symphony presents Holiday Classics Concert

The San Luis Valley Symphony will present its Holiday Classics Concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, in Leon Memorial Hall on the Adams State University campus.

Under the direction of Dr. William Lipke, the program will feature beloved holiday favorites including the Overture and Pastoral Symphony from Handel's Messiah and "A Christmas Festival" and "Sleigh Ride" by Leroy Anderson. There will also be a Mozart Violin Concerto movement with competition winner Marika Basagoitia and the popular Symphony No. 40 in G Minor by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The SLV Symphony is composed of professional musicians, ASU faculty members and students, and community members.
