The Adams State University Cloyde Snook Gallery will host an opening reception for Duck, an art student exhibit, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, in the Art Building. According to Eugene Schilling, art professor and gallery director, the faculty agreed on providing all art students with a yellow rubber duck at the beginning of the fall semester. “The rubber ducks were used as inspiration or departure for a piece of art.”

A special reception will be held for the Hatfield Gallery Juried Regional High School Exhibition at 12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, in the Art Building. Both shows will continue through December 15.

The Cloyde Snook and Hatfield Gallery hours are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday.
