Science gets Boyd Elementary students spinning

Boyd Elementary students, pictured left to right, Anna Pruneda, Taylor Motz, Taylor Holland, Luke Smith, Ethan DeGolyer, Brandon Madril, and Allen Romero, were introduced to the earth and moon, and their relationships to each other and to the sun, at the Adams State College Science Activity Center and Zacheis Planetarium on Tuesday, October 13. Dr. Randy Emmons, professor of physics, led the students through a variety of hands-on activities including rotating like the earth with a "moon" partner.
