Next ASC Science Saturday is October 23
Start your Saturday morning with catapults and trebuchets at the Adams State College Science Saturday, on October 23 in the Adams State Science Activity Center. The event is free and open to the public.
The October 23 Science Saturday morning session is scheduled from 9 a.m. until noon and is geared for a younger group. From 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. participants will explore solar energy, this session requires more skills and the ability to work independently. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Science Saturday is a series of structured activities where people of all ages explore science and mathematics in guided hands-on activities. Materials are provided.
Participation in the structured sessions requires arrival at scheduled start time. Drop-in is allowed for those with a general interest in the center. Other equipment and demonstrations are available for exploration.
The Science Activity Center is on the north side of the Community Partnership Building, located on Main Street and Edgemont Blvd. on the Adams State campus.
