Be fully present when eating

The Adams State University Faculty Lecture "Mindful Eating: A Tool for Health and Wellness," by Dr. Theresa O'Halloran, professor of counselor education, begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, in Porter Hall room 130.

Mindful eating is the process of being fully present for your eating, moment to moment, without judgment. The brief lecture will include gaining understanding of mindful eating; learning about the benefits and challenges of mindful eating; practicing mindful eating and identifying ways to increase awareness of food and eating in your life.
