Adams State College Homecoming Week begins October 6


Adams State College Homecoming Week is October 6 through October 11 and this year's theme is ASC Going Greek: Celebrating the Ancient Life.

From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, a new homecoming activity will begin all around campus. GAB will be providing chalk at the Japanese/American Memorial Garden for clubs and groups can show their ASC pride by decorating sidewalks on campus.

Musical Bingo at the food court begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, with plenty of free prizes.

The much anticipated Medicine show begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, in Richardson Hall Auditorium.

Magician, Justin Kredible, voted "Campus entertainer of the year 2007," begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in Carson Auditorium.

Adams State College clubs and groups will continue the tradition of decorating the Rex Field fence on Friday, Oct. 10.

The parade, a community favorite, starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, on La Due Drive and continues down Main Street in Alamosa.

The Adams State Homecoming Football game against Fort Lewis begins at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11. The 2008 homecoming royalty will be crowned at half time. A Homecoming Social for Adams State College students will be held from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m.
