ASC hosts 2009 ASC Cares Day

Student volunteers help build a home with Habitat For Humanity during the 2008 ASC Cares Day.

Adams State College campus clubs and individuals will spend the day working with local non-profits during the ASC Cares Day Fall Plunge on Saturday, Sept. 26.

Earlier that week, the Volunteer Fair and Club FoodFest is from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, next to the Japanese-American Memorial Garden located just west of the ES Building. A representation of San Luis Valley non-profits will be on campus to inform students, faculty, and staff of their various missions and to recruit volunteers. Adams State clubs and organizations will sell food and music will be provided.
