ASU honors Constitution Day with lecture and discussion


The Adams State University Department of History/Government and Philosophy will recognize Constitution Day with a lecture on John Marshall and Judicial Review, by Dr. Stephen C. Roberds, associate professor of government. The event begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, in the Norma Peterson Classroom, McDaniel Hall room 101. The event is free and open to the public.

The program will explore how and why this power, nowhere mentioned in the Constitution, made the Supreme Court the arbiter of the Constitution.
