The well-regarded panelists, Mr. Armando Valdez, Mr. Eugene Jacquez, and Mr. Michael Gibson will speak regarding their perspectives on water use at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, in McDaniel Hall room 101.
As water users and protectors, each of the panelists will provide their viewpoints on how this life-sustaining resource should be considered sacred and treated with respect.
Please plan to attend this lecture and gain insights from the perspectives of a rancher, an acequia association leader, and the former Colorado Water Congress president. The lecture is a component of the ASU Lifeways of the San Luis Valley Lecture Series, which celebrates the rich history and diversity of the San Luis Valley. The lecture series is made possible through ASU CIELO. Parking is located east of McDaniel Hall. Adams State parking lots do not require permits after 5 p.m.
