What do I need to do before Orientation?
Before you come to Orientation make sure you take care of the Next Steps for Admitted Students.
How do I get to campus?
There are many ways to get to campus, here are a few resources to assist you on your journey:

When can I move into Residence Halls?
First-year students can check-in to their residence hall from 1pm - 8pm on Thursday, August 17th & 8am - 11am on Friday, August 18th. Make sure you have everything you need:
Note: If you are unable to check-in during the times listed above, please contact our Housing & Residence Life staff, 719-587-7227 or email@example.com. There will be staff in the residence halls until 10pm on Thursday, August 17th and 8pm on Friday, August 18th.
What if I'm not going to live on campus?
Orientation check-in for all campus students is from 8am - 11:30am on Friday, August 18th. There will be check-in tables by the Rock on the Campus Green and at the Japanese Garden.
Do I have to attend Orientation?
All first time on-campus students, including Freshman and Transfer students, are required to attend New Student Orientation.
What does the Orientation fee cover?
New Student Orientation is included on your bill as a part of the "matriculation fee". This includes housing, meals, welcome dinner and lunch and all sessions.
When will I receive Orientation materials?
Students will receive a packet of material upon check-in.
When should I register for fall classes?
Students can schedule registration with an advisor prior to orientation.
Can my family come too?
Absolutely! Adams State University hosts a family orientation with programming Friday, August 18th and Saturday, August 19th.
