We offer learning using the Creative Curriculum which includes all the domains of learning. Lessons are developmentally appropriate for the ages of the children in the classroom. Literacy is the backbone of all our programs and teachers plan activities around the arts of reading and writing.

Colorado Preschool Program

Children must be four years old by June 1st to qualify for the program. This program is free for qualifying children. The morning three hour session accommodates 28 children in two classrooms and beings at 8:30 am The afternoon three hour session accommodates 27 children and begins at 12:30 pm CPP classes are open Monday through Thursday from September through May. No CPP classes are held on Fridays. Tuition based wrap around child care services are available for children that need extended care.
The Gingerbread House registration process consists of the completion of an application packet. State licensing regulations require that all children have a birth certificate, immunization records, emergency contact information, and a completed application on file on the first day of attendance. A physical must be completed within 30 days of the first day of attendance. These are required in all three of our programs. Please be advised that all information that is provided is kept strictly confidential and is used only by the child care staff.
The center participates in the USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and does not charge extra for children’s meals but requires each family to complete a form so the program can get reimbursement for these meals. It is the parents/guardians responsibility to keep all paperwork up to date. If you have changes, please ask for your child’s personal file so the changes can be made. Discounts are offered to current Adams State students and staff.
