Michelle Le Blanc, director
Michelle Le Blanc teaches general education English courses at ASU. In addition, Le Blanc has been a journalist and grantwriter writing about science, art, history, literature, and community, so she is adept at research and citation. She is a native Coloradoan and earned a journalism degree at CU-Boulder and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Antioch University in Los Angeles.
After a 35-year journey through the wilds of Rochester, NY; St. Louis, Las Cruces, NM; and Boston, Mike Clifford has spent 15 years in Alamosa. He believes that, despite any evidence to the contrary, communicating clearly, concisely and creatively is a skill that is beneficial in any field of study or profession.
He earned his degree in journalism from New Mexico State University and feels the writing skills he acquired there and then still apply today, even when tweeting. He looks forward to sharing those skills with the good folks at Adams State University. In his spare time, he hosts and produces a ½ hour audio newsmagazine every weekday for KRZA 88.7FM, http://www.krza.org. I’m Mike Clifford, and I approved this message.
Briana "Bri" Gonzales is originally from Taos, New Mexico. Bri is a sophomore, majoring in psychology and minoring in political science. In her spare time she enjoys watching Netflix, sharing Tasty videos on Facebook, and trying to keep her life from falling apart. If you ever see her around campus, don't be afraid to say hello!
Jordan Jackson is a senior working towards a Cellular/Molecular Biology degree at Adams State. Jordan is from Phoenix, Arizona and first attended Adams State in 2014 through recruitment from the Adams State football program. He is particularly comfortable helping students with scientific papers and lab reports. He enjoys easy hiking, camping, and videogames in his spare time.
Jasmyn Brendle is a junior at ASU and is double majoring in English: Mass Communications-Journalism and English: Liberal Arts, with a minor in Business Administration. She is a first generation college student from Cortez, Colorado. She is secretary for the Pen & Inkwell: Writer’s Guild, the creative writing club here on campus. Chelsea Walljasper is originally from Anchorage, Alaska. After graduating high school, she decided to attend college at Adams State. She is a psychology major with a minor in biology, and she aspires to go to graduate school for neuroscience. She enjoys music, hiking and cats in her spare time.
