2018 Unidos Equity Leadership Institute

The Title V Unidos Cooperative Grant, in collaboration with Adams State University, University of New Mexico-Taos, and New Mexico Highlands University, will present the 2018 Unidos Equity Leadership Institute.

The Unidos Equity Leadership Institute embraces efforts in achieving inclusive excellence, cultural responsiveness, and building leadership for equity. Scheduled to be held in Alamosa, Colorado at the La Manzanilla Barn from July 22-27, 2018, the Institute is open to faculty and staff who are genuinely interested in engaging in professional development that will focus on identifying barriers that impede the teaching and learning of students from underrepresented groups.

The Unidos Equity Leadership Institute will be a residential, off-campus event. Full participation and commitment are expected during the week of July 22-27, 2018. Adams State staff and full time faculty, (faculty without summer contractual obligations), will be eligible for a $1,000 stipend and an opportunity to submit a proposal for a $2000.00 Equity Engagement Grant. These incentives are available upon successful completion of the Institute.

Participation numbers are limited; you are highly encouraged to inform one of these contact persons to ensure your registration. By May 2, 2018, contact:
