The artistic director of the Mt. Blanca Summer Music Conservatory, Off returns to the Valley to perform this exciting and extremely challenging work, under the direction of James W. Doyle, D.M.A., associate professor of music and director of the University Percussion Ensemble.

The shuttle will pick up individuals throughout the day, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov, 6, at the pull-up area in front of the Grizzly sculpture.

Lily Kuonen will host a free public postcard-making workshop created from her Mail Art Project.

“It began with a small display of “Ofrendas” or “Altares” and decorations on the hall outside of the Foreign Language faculty offices. In the last few years, we collaborated with the Catholic Church, who allows the use of their stage and gymnasium,” Rayas Solís said.

“Although I learned a good amount of history and education leadership, I also found out more about myself, which I believe has made all the difference in my place in society in helping students,” Gagliardi said.

The concert will feature several popular pieces such as J.S Bach’s “Air” from Orchestral Suite No.3, a Bach chorale from his B Minor Mass, Aaron Copland’s Waltz from Billy the Kid and Edward Grieg’s monumental Concerto for Piano and Orchestra with William Lipke, D.M.A., as the concerto soloist.

Día de los Muertos is a traditional Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico particularly in the Central and Southern regions and by others of Mexican Heritage throughout the world.

The magic show is a very fun presentation for people of all ages.
