Parents & Families Resources
When your child leaves for college,
It’s a big deal. If they come to Adams State University, you can be sure they’re in good hands. For nearly 100 years, we’ve been preparing students to become successful professionals and engaged citizens.
We all want your child to have a rewarding and memorable college experience. Our secret is a unique culture that’s rooted in caring and personal relationships. Nestled in the San Luis Valley, we’re a close-knit community that values diversity, trust, respect, and civility. Likewise, we take teaching seriously. Our faculty get to know their students as a result of small class sizes and commitment to individual attention.
That individual attention extends from the classroom to all aspects of campus life. We offer support services to help students through difficult learning and personal transitions. And we offer a variety of extracurricular activities to complement their rigorous academic experience. All this adds up to the most important point: Students at Adams State are free to discover their own talents and strengths in a welcoming environment.
In order to keep families up-to-date about what is happening at Adams State University, there will be a monthly newsletter sent out about different activities going on around campus and with our students. We include highlights from offices around campus, personal testimonies from our students and much more. For more information, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.orgSign up for Newsletter
Family and Sibs Weekend
The University hosts a family and sibs weekend every fall. It’s one way for Adams State to make sure the entire family is part of the Grizzly family.
