Who should participate?

This is an excellent chance to get a taste of campus life at Adams State!

What will you do?

You will be paired with one of our music students and shadow them as they move throughout their day. You will have the opportunity to experience ensembles, music classes, and have a chance to take a lesson and a scholarship audition.

You will also get to meet other music students in your area of interest, take a campus tour, and enjoy lunch in our dining hall. Students are welcome to bring a parent, guardian, or guest and experience a typical day in the life of a music student.

Our “Music Student for a Day” program is the perfect way to get to know the Adams State University music department community and discover the opportunities that are available to you here at Adams State University.

Once you register, you will receive a personalized itinerary. We will meet you in the lobby of the music building to begin your day as a music major.
