Shadow a music student as they move throughout a typical day, meet the faculty and the students, attend classes and rehearsals, and take a scholarship audition. The music department at Adams State prides itself on a personal approach to your education. Let us show you!

Who should participate?

Any high school junior or senior interested in learning more about music at Adams State University, whether you are thinking about majoring in music, minoring in music, or just want to continue to be involved in music after high school. This is an excellent chance to get a taste of campus life at ASU!

What will you do?

You will be paired with one of our music students and shadow them as they move throughout their day. You will have the opportunity to experience ensembles, music classes, and have a chance to take a lesson and a scholarship audition.

You will also get to meet other music students in your area of interest, take a campus tour, and enjoy lunch in our dining hall. Students are welcome to bring a parent, guardian, or guest and experience a typical day in the life of a music student.

Our “Music Student for a Day” program is the perfect way to get to know the Adams State University music department community and discover the opportunities that are available to you here at Adams State University.
