Music at Adams State

is an active and vital program - committed to musical excellence within a small college environment.
Each year, more than 700 of the 3100 on-campus students participate in music through classes, lessons and performing ensembles.
Adams State is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
Our programs feature:
- Music scholarships available for music majors and minors
- Outstanding faculty; 85% of full-time music faculty have earned doctoral degrees
- Small class sizes and plenty of individual attention
- Music majors and minors receive weekly 50-minute music lessons with music faculty, not graduate assistants
- Over twelve high-quality ensembles available for participation
- State-of-the-art music computer lab, housed in the music building
- State-of-the-art recording studio
- 200 seat recital hall
