Music at Adams State

is an active and vital program - committed to musical excellence within a small college environment.

Each year, more than 700 of the 3100 on-campus students participate in music through classes, lessons and performing ensembles.

Adams State is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music.

Our programs feature:

  • Music scholarships available for music majors and minors
  • Outstanding faculty; 85% of full-time music faculty have earned doctoral degrees

  • Music majors and minors receive weekly 50-minute music lessons with music faculty, not graduate assistants
