Nico Centeno, professional development administrative assistant II, was recently elected as an Alamosa Bicycle Coalition Board Member.

Deborah Rodda, M.S., assistant athletic trainer, and Joe Toenjes, M.S., head athletic trainer, received their Certification in Dry Needling this summer. They attended a three-day workshop with Structure and Function in June.

The History Colorado Board of Directors elected Charles Nicholas Saenz, Ph.D., assistant vice president of academic affairs, to the State Historian’s Council. The appointment will take effect August 1 (Colorado Day). Susan Schulten, Ph.D., distinguished university professor of history at the University of Denver, will serve as Colorado State Historian this year and Dr. Saenz will be on deck for the last year of his 5-year term, 2029-2030 – just in time for the Anza 250th.

Recently, Candice Taylor, M.L.I.S., outreach and engagement librarian, was honored to receive the Pratt Severn Best Student Research Paper Award from the Association for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T) as a recognition for her graduate research. “It’s an exciting milestone, and I’m looking forward to bringing that energy into my new role at Adams.”
