What is NetTutor?

A more convenient way to receive tutoring is now available to Adams State University students through NetTutor. NetTutor provides live tutoring in more than 30 subjects and is available 24 hours a day to students. Student Success Coaching is also available to new students or students that are looking to improve academic performance. This is a free, one-on-one service through the University Blackboard system.

All tutors on Net Tutor hold bachelor’s degrees, with many holding graduate degrees in their fields of expertise. Tutoring services include the following subjects:

  • Science

  • Math

  • English, Reading and Writing

  • World Languages and Social Sciences

  • Humanities and Communications

  • Accounting, Finance, Economics, and Business

  • Allied Health and Nursing

  • Computer Science and Information Technology

  • Student Success Coaching

How to get started with online tutoring in Net Tutor:

  • Access Net Tutor through your Blackboard account under “Tools.”

  • To get started, watch this short video on how to use NetTutor.

Having trouble finding Net Tutor or getting logged on?

  1. First, use Google Chrome as your browser (not Safari)

  2. Second, contact the Grizzly Tutoring & STEM Center for instructions on logging in (tutoring@adams.edu or 719-587-8189)

  3. Last, if you experience a technical issue with Net Tutor/Blackboard, contact the Academic Instructional Technology Center (asaitc@adams.edu or 719-587-7371)

In-person Tutoring is also available & free of charge for ASU students!
