Registration Information

Print-Based Correspondence Courses

Print-based correspondence courses are not online and are not accessible through Blackboard.

Registration for print-based correspondence courses is limited to:

Incarcerated students only (degree-seeking and non-degree-seeking)

Student Types

Degree-Seeking Students
Degree-seeking students have been admitted to Adams State University and are pursuing an associate, bachelor’s, or master’s degree.

Non-Degree-Seeking Students
Non-degree-seeking students have not applied for or been admitted to Adams State University. Only incarcerated non-degree-seeking students may enroll in print-based correspondence courses.

Please note that courses completed as a non-degree-seeking student may not apply toward a future degree program. Students are responsible for verifying course applicability prior to enrollment.

Registration & Payment Requirements

Before a student can be registered for courses, all required registration materials and payment must be received by the published deadlines.

• Payment must be received before any registration can be processed.
• Failure to submit payment by the payment deadline will result in the student not being registered for the requested course(s).
• Registration forms must be completed and signed by the student.
• If a student has designated a valid Power of Attorney (POA), the authorized individual may complete and sign registration documents on the student’s behalf.
• Incomplete registration forms may delay processing and enrollment.

Important: Registration is not complete until both the registration form and payment have been received. Students who miss payment deadlines will not be registered for courses.

• Undergraduate Registration Form (Correspondence) (I attached the form to this ticket called PEP_RegForm_CorrDS)
• Non-Degree-Seeking Registration Form (I attached the form to this ticket called Non Degree PEP_RegForm)

**Important:** Please select the correct registration form. Submitting the wrong form may delay the registration process.

Completed registration forms may be submitted by email or mail.
