Six climbers from the Adams State University Climbing Team qualified and traveled to the 2015 Collegiate Climbing Series National Championship in San Diego on April 17th and 18th. The results were impressive, having every athlete finish in the top half of their respected specialization. Considering that the team had a new coach, two of the six were true freshman, and brand new rules governing the series the result could not have been better. The team is looking forward to an even stronger 2016 as they work on recruitment and perfecting their eight month training periodization. For more information on the team contact the Adventure Sports Coordinator, Marshal Hartley, mhartley@adams.edu, or the head climbing coach, Matt Moore, mwm087@gmail.com. Below are the official results, out of 185 men competitors and 118 women competitors.
