La Pieta by Dana Provence

The Adams State University Art Department will begin the 2018 Fall Season with its annual art faculty exhibit in the Cloyde Snook Gallery.

Dana Provence, professor of art, will exhibit Retool, in the Hatfield Gallery. The opening reception for both exhibits will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 30, in the Art Building. The exhibits open August 27 and continues through September 13.

Provence’s show will include his artwork that was completed during sabbatical for the spring 2018 semester. The artwork explores the concept of social engineering, utilizing digital 3D design and 3D printing.

The Cloyde Snook Gallery will include work by Madeleine Ahlborn, Kristian Gosar, Amy Kucera, Leslie Macklin, Charise Mixa, Eugene Schilling, Eric Stewart, Claire van der Plas, and Robin Wolfe.
