Adams State Classified Employees Council will host Craft Fair and Chile Cook-Off

Hand-crafted gifts and mouth-watering chile – the Adams State University Classified Employees Council will host a Craft Fair and Chile Cook-Off on Saturday, November 7, in the Plachy Hall Field House.

The Craft Fair will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Vendor fee is $20 for a 10′ by 10′ booth and additional tables are $10.

Chile Cook-Off contestants pay $15 per entry. Set up begins at 10:30 a.m. Voting by the public is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with winners announced at 1:30 p.m. First place prize, $100, and second place, $50, will be awarded in each category, red and green chile.

Tickets to sample the chile cost $5 and include the right to vote for your favorite dish. This year includes a jalapeno eating contest for adults with the winner receiving $50.

Registration deadline for Craft Fair and/or Cook-Off is November 6.
