Adams State Graduate Commencement Ceremony is May 14

During the 2015 ceremony, Megan Opperman-Nichols receives her Master in Music Education hood from Dr. Tracy Doyle and Dr. Ed Crowther.

The Adams State University Graduate Commencement Ceremony, for students receiving their master’s degrees, begins at 1:30 p.m. May 14, in Plachy Hall Gym.

Adams State will award 346 degrees, for the 2015/2016 academic year. Graduate degrees to be awarded will include art, counselor education, higher education administration and leadership (HEAL), human performance and physical education (HPPE), humanities: United States history, Master of Business Administration, music education, and teacher education.

Dr. William Lipke, professor of music, will perform a special selection of music and a slide show featuring the graduate students will be included in the ceremony. A reception honoring the graduates and their guests will be held in the front foyer of Plachy Hall. Dr. Linda Reid, co-chair and professor of business will receive recognition as emeritus professor.
