Adams State to host SLV Hemp Symposium Nov. 5

The San Luis Valley Hemp Symposium will explore many aspects of the plant’s benefits and potential, Saturday, November 5, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Adams State University Student Union Building. Admission is $10, with children 12 and under free.

"Hemp is a viable resource that can be used to produce thousands of products. It also has vast potential for creating a positive change on our environment, our economy, and our personal health," said symposium organizer Morris Beegle, of Colorado Hemp Company.

The symposium will present "Let’s Talk Hemp" sessions including educational panels and presentations on various aspects of industrial and nutritional hemp. In addition, an exhibitor expo will provide a wide assortment of hemp-related products and services that demonstrate the many benefits of hemp.
